Rancherita

Miss Rancherita is a biproduct from a sleeping project I wanted to close down by selling some stuff. I was going to build a streetrace engine for the Mustang but when I realized the modifications that would be necessary I just regretted the whole idea – not with that car. As usual while trying to sell stuff cheap the hagglers came around until I lost it. A friend said put it in another car…why not a pickup? And here we go again..just a month later a good deal was closed and it is right now waiting to be shipped from Seattle. It is the first car to be restored by Egon Hill Consulting and lets see if it wont become a nice transporter/PR-machine? We will put some pictures here to let everybody follow this project. 

221011: Uppdate, Rancherita is now down to molecules and body- and paintworks is ongoing.In parallell the driveline is being rebuilt – among other things the 9-inch rear has a totally new interior with a more suitable ratio.  The engine is ready for benchtesting and most parts has been purchased to facilitate a quick assembly. All trims are also being rechromed and polished.
